Ponder too Much?

Do I even know what it means? “think about (something) carefully, especially before making a decision or reaching a conclusion.”I pondered the question of what clothes to wear for the occasion” · “she sat pondering over her problem”synonyms: think about · give thought to · consider · review · reflect on · mull over · contemplate · study · meditate on · muse on · deliberate about · cogitate on · dwell on · brood on/over · ruminate about/on · chew over · puzzle over · speculate about · weigh up · turn over in one’s mind · be in a brown study · put on one’s thinking cap about · pore on · cerebrate”

I think tonight I will not ponder about anything. I think I shall simply prattle and leave the broken work computer, the second stroke, and the boys who won’t make a decision all disappear for a while while I prattle.

  1. Wow you were random commenting everywhere yesterday! I found five!
(Ahold, The Dunce, and 3 on mine)!!! whoop whoop!

I think i enjoy your pondering more than anything. I do the same thing, and I love to see how you pull the thoughts together.

I will leave you with a random quote from William Blake

    Tyger Tyger burning bright
in the forest of the night
    what immortal hand or eye
    cast thy fearful symmetry

  2. Pondering too much leads us into ponds.

Deep ponds might drown us; shallow ponds, it is nice to ponder around in them, sometimes.

I do like deep pondering too, though, and the prattle they generate in my brain, before I come up for air, once more again…lol…I haven’t drowned in one yet…although I have lost myself in my own murky deepnesses at times too.
