The vegetable sold in the supermarket are all packaged well in a plastic bag like the picture showed.
In UK, plastic bags have been removed for fruit and vegetables . The shoppers can instead buy reusable drawstring bags in a trial at two Sainsbury’s stores in July
It’s glad to hear such positive news, I hope the supermarkets in my country will follow suit soon.
I don’t like to buy vegetable in the supermarkets due to massive plastic bag usage too.

Is it okay for you if the plastic bags are not provided in the supermarket?

Yes, I think it’s good if those packaged plastics can be removed. If we are working towards zero waste, we need more shops that allow us to bring our own containers. Or maybe there are some shops around, it’s just that I am not aware of them.
It’s good that at least when we go to wet market, we can avoid plastic bags for most items.
Great to hear that. The plastic ban is taking shape in India too. A welcome development all around the World.
I have nothing against plastic. It is the wanton disposal that is wrong.
In my country, supermarkets are also removing slowly the use of plastic bags. I fully agree!
This is an excellent idea.
Yes, it’s a lovely idea, isn’t?
We already have a rule in place banning one time use plastic bags
That’s great, I hope not to have to put the vegetable into a plastic bag for weighing too.
Yes I agree with Government decision on this
It seems most of us will welcome such rule.
