Thuja is a shrub rich in ethereal oils. Few of us know that this coniferous tree is more than a decorative plant. Thuja is endowed with exceptional healing properties. Particularly helps in reducing pain, toning the skin and treating dermatological conditions.
To heal wounds and relieve rheumatic pains, the thuja ointment can be used.
I remembered that I was a chemist and I prepared an ointment using thuja leaves, olive oil, honey, and beeswax! Smells nice! Hope it helps!?

It looks really interesting!
It’s the first time I’ve seen or heard about it!
In homoeopathy there is Thuja as a remedy
Really? I never see this plant before, thanks for informing.
That is right! It has many therapeutic qualities.
wonderful photo. As Rex says, this is cedar and I just love the scent of cedar.
Thuja and cedar is the same tree. It is also known as arborvitae due to its medicinal properties.
In the US, we call this cedar. A few cedars here are ornamental bushes, but some are large trees. I used to make incense out of incense cedar cones. I love the smell. I’ve also placed a small piece of cedar wood in a clothes drawer to keep the clothes smelling fresh. A long time ago, I had a cedar chest that was made out of red cedar wood.
Thuja is also known as northern white-cedar. We call it “Tuia” in romanian language.
Your posts about plants are always interesting. This is the first time that I’ve heard of that shrub.
Thanks. I’m glad you found them interesting!
I have read this advice before but never tried it. Nice photo.
Many say it is very efficient! I will see!
I did not know this is our cedar in the US. How interesting.
