I found this flower in the yard of my mother’s house. White chicory is a rare form of the common blue variety. Even the pollen grains are white on the white chicory. It was the first time i saw it in this color.
Chicory has been used for many years as a decaffeinated coffee substitute. Chicory coffee not only does not contain caffeine, but has countless health benefits.

It is a lovely flower. I don’t think I have ever seen such a flower before.
