I used a nice sunny day to take a trip to one of our most beautiful alpine valleys … the Planica Valley where I parked my car and drove about an hour’s walk to the mountain hut in Tamar at an altitude of 1108 m where there is a real winter atmosphere … lots of snow and wonderful views of the neighboring peaks. The home in Tamar is located on a picturesque mountain clearing in the upper part of the Planica Valley called Tamar. The Tamar home is permanently open. The two dining areas have 67 seats and a bar. Home in Tamar is the starting point for ascents to Jalovec (2645 m), very difficult trail, Srednja Ponca (2230 m), difficult trail, Slemenova Špica (1909 m), under Mojstrovke, easy path, Mala Mojstrovka (2333 m), very demanding routes and to Mangart (2679 m), a very challenging route.

we have not had a lot of snow yet, I am happy to see pictures of it!
Even in our valleys there is no snow …. it is at an altitude of 1108 m
that is awesome, I love to see snow in pictures!
I like to see it live as well … for 2 hours then I returned to the valley where there was no snow even for the pattern
