Life scars – a symbol of strength

Life scars – a symbol of strength. Never be ashamed of the scars left by life. The scar meant that the pain was gone and the wound is healed. It means you have overcome the pain, learned the lesson, become stronger and improved.

The scar is a tattoo of triumph. Do not become hostage to your scars. Don’t let them make you live in fear. You cannot force scars to disappear, but you can change how you look at them. You can treat your scars as a sign of strength.

Jalal al-Din Rumi once said, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” There is nothing fairer than these words. Out of suffering arose the strongest souls, the most influential people in this great world have scars.

  1. I have plenty of scars, one thing they remind me to avoid going down a certain road that is dangerous, and another they teach me about people.
Since facing my scars and the fact I have them, made me realise that many others also have scars…
which is life, and hopefully, I hope to have learned from them and become a better person

  2. Do we really need scars though?

Does God have scars, does love have scars, does the light have scars, so then why would we need them?

What are scars, but places in you where you have darkened the light.

Light does seek them out again to relight them for you, but really, no such darkness is ever necessary, no scars are needed for one who stays in love, with love, in God.

Love has no scars, and makes no scars.
