Although life is much traveled
Life is indeed a delicate road.
Be careful not to tilt the balance,
Or we’ll be thrown off course.
At loggerheads with those around,
Unhappy with everything that surrounds.
Life is a indeed delicate bridge.
It sways from happiness to sadness ,
You may not know when it will shift,
But all you can do is live it well
And make sure there is no rift.
It ebbs and flows as sometimes roars,
Like a the sea at evening tide.
Just make sure that you swing along
That delicate bridge called life.

the line moved me. Life is the essence of a teeter-totter, if we are working together we stay in balance. But when one side stops, we are no longer aligned.
Thanks Doc for taking a read, I write about life too often (though I try not too) , because as a mental health professional I always meet people who have somehow gone off course and lost their balance.
