Located in the Heart of Kuala Lumpur the capital of Malaysia, is the towers named for the Oil Company of Malaysia. Petronas is the company, the Petronas towers the building.

A few of the many fun things you can see and do in KL! The KLCC is actually connected at the base of the Petronas Towers.
A few pictures over the next couple of days of things I have seen in my lifetime. Traveling was my job for nearly eight years. I don’t think i would travel that much again. There is huge wear and tear with traveling. But I did get to see a lot of fun places.
Malaysia started with a telephone call. 8 am in KL, 8 pm in the US. They, the team there was asking for guidance. I sent them everything I had.
They called me back the next day (am) at 9 pm their time. (9 am my time) and asked if I could come to Malaysia and help.
Two weeks and 24 hours in a plane later I was there with the team.

Is that building the tallest in the world? It looks impressive, like something out of Hollywood.
it was, but the tower in Dubai is now the tallest in the world. This is the tallest twin towers in the world!
I see. With the advancement in technology, it’s now easier to build things in a shorter time
very much so, the time to reach the sky is much less now. It still takes 2-3years to complete however.
Ahh…I thought it took one year. I can understand working to quickly complete constructing such a building might be disastrous.
it can be but it takes a long time for a huge building!
Well, I think it looks tall, but we have to consider my height as well.
it is very tall – once was the tallest building in the world!

I only know the Petronas twins from the pictures …. I also saw them on TV when the Formula 1 race was broadcast … they are very magnificent
They really are, the Malaysian F1 track is out in the middle of a palm plantation!

formula 1 is the only type of racing that I don’t watch often. I did go to the one in Indianapolis when I lived there.
