The first computer I ever bought was the Apple IIc. It was a good computer, but well, i needed more. I outgrew the memory and the floppy drives quickly.

that was when I upgraded to the Apple IIgs (graphics and sound!) I actually purchased one of the first 1000 of them ever made and it had a signature just like the one in the picture!

yes, David Letterman used to do this on his show!
I loved my Apple IIgs. It was a fun computer. I outgrew it within a year. But at the time it was awesome. I can honestly say that computer was the one that I wrote the first book i ever sold on. The book was called “There are days you just want to go home.” And was a year-long journal of being a teacher!
It has been out of print now for nearly 30 years but I was proud of that book!
The IIgs was a fun addition to my life. And was the 2nd computer I ever bought!

I used to have an Apple IIc when I was a kid. One of the best computer games back then was Micro League Baseball. It had all of the stats of the best MLB teams ever. It even had the old St. Louis Browns teams on there.
i remember that game, I was also into Larry Bird vs. Dr J
That game was so awesome! Statue of Liberty dunk all day
i loved the game, that and scarab of RA kept me busy for hours. Then sim earth! and don’t forget playmaker football!

I remember the first PC we bought in Latvia it was a big clunky box for the PC itself and a little tiny monitor screen in a big plastic covering. I always thought it looked strange and greatly welcomed those large much more flat screens like the one I have now.
I remember those clunky old pc’s – we used to carry laptops back in the day. We called them lugables. they were 9 or 10 pounds and after an hour on your shoulder, you were in pain!
This definitely brings back memories : )
i remember the IIgs, I loved mine! it was a great computer. I stayed in the apple world for a long time.
I have been using Windows since the beginning.
i shockingly switched in the mid-90s to windows from Mac. I use both now but for a long time I was a windows only user.
I recognize this Apple computer. Very cool.
