Two bird posts in a row, but I wanted to share this sparrow picture for the Color Crazy Challenge. I am already excited about next weeks’ pastel colors.
Almost overnight, during the weekend, most trees became green and very few are still having blossoms. I think that’s a sign that winter is officially over even though the last couple of days the temperature was very low.
I know that sparrows are often considered a pest, but I find them cute. What do you think?

I like most animals except insects, not so much. An excellent picture, a choice of note.
Thank you so much! I believe sparrows help get rid of some insects.
Eyes are always watching over the sparrows.
One of my favorite things is to watch the birds.
Sparrows are birds lovely although sometimes they are a little “annoying”.
You summed it up perfectly, thank you!
I like sparrows. I’m attracted to taking pictures of them. But often they come to my terrace and dig my finger in my flowers.
They are cute, but they can be mischievous.
The look on the bird’s face is priceless! “I see you lady with the camera. Don’t come closer!!!!!”
Haha, that’s understandable. It’s not pleasant to have each of your actions monitored or photographed. 😀
yes and the bird was looking at you!!!!
Even though I take most of my photos through the closed window, they somehow sense the camera.
they do, and apparently they glare at you!!!
They are pests! I didn’t know that. I love sparrows.
Maybe it depends on the place and whether the sparrow population is big there. I like thwm too.
I love the sparrows, Missed the pleasant voice 🙂
I love the cute chirps too
I love sparrows and miss them, I haven’t seen one in years.
They are everywhere here, we can trade hehe
that is a really cute photo of the sparrow, Ellie.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Happy to see the sparrow. There is a dearth of sparrows where I live.
They are everywhere here from cities to natural places.
Actually I like all kinds of birds including sparrows for they are cute, even though they are considered pests.
I also find them very cute, but they are usually in big gangs and sometimes they don’t leave a chance for other birds to eat from the bird feeders.
Maybe we can write something on the signboard for them, “If you are really brave, come alone like a gentleman, not like a loser who just dares by gang up!”
Haha, that’s a good idea!
Perfect photo Ellie. My issue with them involves my bluebirds.
Thank you so much, Carol! They are always first on the feeders here.
