As some of you may already know, I like combining challenges. Today, with this greenfinch photo from last year I decided to combine Saturday Critters and the Color Crazy Challenge. This photo could be even applied to Ilena’s new spring challenge, but I think it would be too much, haha.
At first, greenfinches didn’t use to be among my favorite birds, but they gradually grew on me and I really love them now. They are funny, the females are very cute and the male ones have beautiful colors.

It’s a beautiful bird, but I’ve never seen this bird.

That’s a great idea! RasmaSandra had a fun quiz for the yellow week and I was surprised how many songs are dedicated to this color.

It is a beautiful bird. This can be found in my country but I never seen it around my city
I think they prefer forests and quiet areas.

This particular species is common in Europe, north Africa and south west Asia.
