I was surprised to see at the sky this morning when I found it was all misty. No sun, no clouds but a different look all around. I have heard a lot about bushfire, fire in the jungles and the warnings issued by the Australian Government and saw them in Sydney but it was for the first time I experienced anything similar in Canberra.
I can see people walking wearing a face mask in the streets and offices but I am not wearing any. I am staying inside in the safety of my home and watching the sky from the window of my room.
I think the country has too many trees and jungles which catch fire easily.

I hope that you and your fellow Australians are being protected from the wildfires.
I am no stranger to wildfires living in Southern CA. Nothing as bad as this. Stay inside, and remember to change your filter once a week. It will be yellow/brown in very little time.
i have been to areas after fires, but never near the area during a fire. I hope you stay safe pal (and I am glad you are back on Virily!)
Watching this on the news makes me so sad. This fire has gone on for so long, I hope this dies down, I hope you get a huge downpour.
We do have frequent rains here but rain makes very little difference on such fires.
I mean one that long that it can douse the fire.
I did watch news about fires in Sydney but when my nephew who lives in NSW visited us did not speak much about it.
The worst fire I experienced in Sydney was back in 2013. It’s still burning in 2016 despite all the efforts.
Indians migrate least knowing they have to face pollution.
Sydney was 11 times more than hazardous level yesterday

No fires here but stay safe and be careful
We are always told about how to stay safe from fire but it never stops fires in Australia. Too many jungles and too much wood that catches fire easily.
Thanks, there is nothing much to do so I am staying inside. But the weather is better and sky is clear today.
I have never had a fire but I keep up with yours on the news. Stay safe.
We had a very large fire in our area. We had firefighters right across the road. They turned all vehicles back in our circular driveway. Many neighbors came and camped in our yard waiting to see if they would have homes. One home blew up completely. It was a rough summer.
That must be horrible, but we have different fires here. These keep on burning for years and no efforts are enough to put them out. We generally have Forest and Bush fires.
No big fires here still, I never saw a big fire here.
We are having a lot more this summer and the air quality is getting worse than ever before.
