Somehow, I love to enjoy the darkness. If anyone has a phobia in a narrow and dark space, I love it. If people are afraid to walk in the dark of night, I also really enjoy it. To be sure, I’m not part of a vampire clan or anything like that. The photo above is the last bright area I passed that night, a few days ago. It appears that some houses are being built there.
Since young, I like to walk at night to enter the dark and lonely area. Well, this is another way to meditate for me, walking meditation. I do this to really enjoy the steps, the silence, the night, the resting nature, the deep peace in mind without fear while listening to the orchestra of the creatures of the night.
The area where I live now after I moved from downtown is a fairly natural area. It’s much easier to enjoy nature and fresh air, whether day or night. But, this area is quite famous as a haunted area. So many places are known to the public as haunted areas with the number of ghost sightings or other astral beings quite often, as well as quite a lot of the people who are possessed by demons.
Wait, do you believe in ghosts? In my area, even lay people often see things like that, without the need for a third eye or as an indigo. Can you imagine, how my eldest daughter who is indigo but has many phobias should often see their sightings? Well, at least she learns more here and her vision is more honed.

Fear of the dark?
In NZ there is a physical good reason. People who are bad attack others. Most people have no idea what goes on at night in the streets of Auckland. Best stay away from it

Indeed certain people’s nature sometimes more dangerous and terrible than another creature.

I’ve heard it said that supernatural phenomenon is really just natural events that we don’t understand. Arthur C Clarke said it best “Advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic…”

As a man of science, I can’t credit anything that I don’t experience empirically. In a fictional or artistic sense, I am more than happy to entertain the notion but then I ruin it by trying to come up with rational theoretical frameworks for these things to exist in

I think a lot depends on our state of mind. Like fear is a spirit that can’t be seen with the naked eye but it does coexist whether it’s outer body or inside the heart and mind. Love is also a spirit and so is kindness. Having said that I do believe that there are territorial beings who can evoke or even provoke certain feelings that can alter the human state of being and that can be some good and some not so good.

Since you said that fear is a spirit then I can say that fear and spirit is energy too, as well as love, our soul, and all essence of all creature. But, even tree, grass, stone, water or everything is energy for every solid object consists of molecules and molecules that are composed of atoms that come from a vacuum. The whole physical world to which we belong includes ourselves is made up of nothing but the vibrating energy. This phenomenon creates an illusion that makes the perception as if the solid thing is a reality when it is not.
This perception, or our state of mind responsible to handle those invisible entity phenomena in some way. And of course, each energy has its own nature, either positive or negative, but in essence, at least for me, we are some kind energy who have to deal with another energy, “inside and outside” and “or” also, “from us to us” and “or” also “from inside to outside”.
So far in life based on my experiences alone I would say that this is most accurate.I do believe that there are higher powers and over above these powers there is the Great Force who we call God. Various religions and dogmatic systems interpret things differently.

Very interesting poll! I believe that there’s more than what we see, but I think that our own mind and real humans can be more dangerous and scary than the supernatural.
You’re right in those two things, Ellie. There are so many things that we can not see with our eyes, as well as the truth that mind and humans can be even more dangerous and frightening. I’m glad that you have no fear of such thing.

I think I’ve seen one when I was young … It’s not a very scary experience (because its very far and I wasn’t alone plus the place is crowded) …
I’ve many nightmares about being haunted by spirits … so I don’t ever wish to meet one again…

My oldest daughter is a girl who can see the unseen, see something invisible from others, and often talk like a fortune teller. Quite a few people came to ask for her help.

Surprise, I long for supernatural beings to visit in hopes of seeing my son and other past loved ones. It has happened but not very often. After losing my Mom years ago she appeared as an angel and it was the most comforting image I have ever seen.

OMG I was always afraid of such things! Unlike you, I prefer normal meditation in a quiet place, yet not in a dark unusual street or building. My room is a perfect place for it hahha! I really hope I won’t experience such crazy unusual thing never! 😀

After all, deep meditation will lead us to the astral dimension, and on a certain astral plane, of course, we should be ready to be hospitable with those who live there, right?

Only our intentions and beliefs will move our feet to start moving and walking.
I love silence, night, nature, but I also have a mild fear, so I choose safe places
