I am sharing a photo of a cute greenfinch for Saturday Critters. I think it’s a female or a young bird, but I am not sure.
The European greenfinch is widely spread in Europe, except for Iceland. Greenfinches have a Eurasian distribution but the European greenfinch also occurs in North Africa. The greenfinch has also been introduced into Australia, New Zealand, Uruguay, and Argentina. Do you see them on your area?

I haven’t seen it in my area. It is cute.
I think they prefer woodland areas.
A lovely photo of a nice bird. I’m from South Africa and I’m don’t recall seeing this bird here.
We didn’t see them before we installed some bird feeders.
What a cute bird. I haven’t seen him around yet.
Thank you so much! They appreciate the bird feeders so that may be a way to attract them.
That is a cute little bird
They are adorable indeed. 🙂
I had about five of them in my bougainvillea the other day. I actually had to look it up. They are super fun to watch, I do know that. Lovely shot.
Thank you! Birds are fun to watch indeed. If they help get rid of some insects, that’s a great bonus.
We don’t have them here. Great capture.
Thank you very much!
Quite a cuddly bird. Just want to hug it
This one looks really cute indeed. The male ones are more colorful but look a bit scary.
That is an adorable bird. I have not seen one.
They can be very cute indeed, sometimes they are a mess.
This is a cute bird and great picture, Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
