Friday in Black and White – I'm worried

I’m walking down the street and watching people . No one notices me. I’m invisible! Even though I have a camera in my hands no one is interested I’m there. From time to time I take a picture! No fear of being seen. It has not been so since the beginning. At first I was frightened! Now I do not care! Can I miss such a photo just because I’m afraid? No way! I do not always have the chance to immortalize someone’s thoughts!!

Hello friends! Friday is about  Black and White photography! Do not forget that!

This is my photo for Friday in Black and White Challenge

  1. Oh, so nice shot. As always, dear. You are a great photographer.
Our country has a strict law about shooting a stranger and sharing his/her photos without permission. If of course, the photo is not captured in some public places constantly visited by many people. But making portraits of strangers is forbidden. Interesting how it’s in your country?

    • The photo was taken on the street during a public event. There were a lot of people on the street. The subject of my photo is the event organizer! I do not think he’s upset that I photographed him! In fact, it’s an artistic photo and he’s a public figure! Using the image of this person without his consent does not violate the law because it doesn’t affects his reputation or dignity. Do you think his dignity is affected by this photo??

      • No, of course. Don’t get me wrong, I just asked because your country is also in EU, right? It was interesting how it’s in your country with this law, because from last year, we got even more strict law, and it annoys many people. It was said that if we want to post someone even with ourselves, we must get permission or cut off that person. Can you imagine? Cut off. So, I do not blame you in anything, I also sometimes capture someone if I see a good view. I was just curious about the law, do all countries accept such nonsense. That’s all.

        • As far as I know, we are not allowed to photograph people in private space without their consent, but if they are in public space and photography does not harm the dignity of the person, it is not forbidden to photograph them. I hope the law has not changed in the meantime!?
