Do you exercise regularly? In these cold winter months, it is very hard to get out and walk like I enjoy. What types of exercise do you prefer? There are many options to choose from these days. Sometimes you can use steps and other items you already have, this will save you money and makes it more convenient. Whatever works for you is what you should do. But the doctors always say to keep moving. That is the most important thing. I need a purple exercise ball like the baby elephant in the photo! ? That would be a great motivator to exercise.

I prefer going outdoors. By the sea I feel great.
I agree with you, if I were closer I would choose that as well.
I don’t really like the gym or machines. I enjoy swimming, but there is no pool nearby. Walking and hiking I love, although it can be hard to motivate myself to get out when the weather is so sh!tty 🙂
I agree Norman, I prefer to exercise alone, walking, etc. I cannot get motivated lately but eventually I will.
I too exercise at home, we can do any time we like.

Very understandable…that’s why I like my workouts…don’t have to worry about the weather!
My machine preference is the elliptical but I enjoy working in the garden/mowing more. Am currently on a limited exercise regime due to knee surgery and am screaming to get back to my regular exercises. It is amazing to see how the targeted exercises are benefitting me though. This is a good reminder to take care to get the exercising in one way or another.
I like the elliptical as well and have thought of purchasing one. Hope you recover soon from knee surgery.

Mine too but during the winter I have to compromise.
I just make sure my body is flooded with sweat every day, by foot, gardening, energy dance or whatever.

I have a hill, suitable for hiking, literally 10 minutes from my house. By feet. It’s good for taking a dog for a walk, or to just to explore it endlessly with friends. That’s what I do, every time I can. 🙂

I don’t exercise, I just hike a lot, garden, groom dogs. I have tried a gym, its okay, not for me though. I prefer the great outdoors. Great poll here, looks like I was the first to answer.
