My walk did not go as planned today as far as getting in my preferred mileage. The rain storm had other plans for me during my attempt to get in at least a 3.10 mile walk in towards the August Walking Challenge. I probably would have been successful if I went for it after I got off of work in the morning, but I just was not in the mood. I got some great pictures today of Humboldt Park prior to getting drenched by the rain.

I always have a portable umbrella by the door for walks.
This rainstorm would have broke an umbrella. It was fun at the time, but never again. When I see the it coming as I did during this walk I’m getting out of dodge next time.
