Easter 2019

Easter is around the corner and I have been thinking of the preparations for the holiday. Do you celebrate Easter? What do you usually do for this holiday?

I have already written about the celebrations in Bulgaria, and I also posted my favorite ways of painting Easter eggs. Do you dye Easter eggs in your country?

Also, check out my post about Lazarus Saturday & Palm Sunday In Bulgaria or check out the eggs I painted last year.

    • You should try it, I think you’ll appreciate the artistic side of it. You can even use empty egg shells so you can paint with any dye without worrying about consuming chemicals.

  1. I don’t celebrate easter, but my family does and I hang out with them so I should get partial credit for vicariously celebrating that holiday

  2. In our country, we do not have many traditions to celebrate Easter. One tradition is we take that all the Easter goodies which were prepared (painted eggs, ham, cake)a Saturday afternoon in the church on blessing. On Sunday mornings, the family has a common Easter breakfast.

  3. I used to celebrate when my family was here, but since they are all gone, I just eat the candy! Love the memories of the egg hunts and dyeing the eggs. Lovely photo Ellie.

  5. We do this with the grandchildren when they are here. If they are not here, we skip the whole thing.
