We were finally able to enjoy the start of the spring during the last week and I took the chance to take a few photos. Here’s a picture of a sparrow in an apricot tree I took a few days ago.

Lovely Sparrow with spring blossom…….
Thank you so much, Pamela!
Have an early hot spring now, waiting for rains cause it’s too dusty. Also just finished the spring cleaning of my flat.
I hope you’ll have a wonderful spring!
Thank you for your kind words! I have been having some problems with the site too lately.
Spring came and work with her in the garden … beautiful picture dear friend
Thank you so much for your kind words, dear friend!
With great pleasure I view your posts, dear friend
The weather is not spring like yet here so still waiting.
How’s it going there? It’s a bit colder here again, but the flowers are blooming.
So cute indeed.
Apparently, spring is a different story for my land
Thank you! The best thing about nature is that it’s so diverse. 🙂
You are welcome, and I agree with you, Ellie.
A beautiful sparrow. Even in our country is spring. The temperatures are quite high, and the flowers begin to flower ….
Thank you so much! Enjoy the spring! 🙂
For me, where I live in Spain, there is no winter, it is spring. I have basic spring cleaning.
Enjoy the warm weather! 🙂
I try to get rid of things all year round but for some reason, spring still seems to be the big one…
That’s great! Whenever I get rid of something, it turns out I needed it, lol.
if I don’t get rid of things, I can’t find anything when I need it
I enjoy spring gardening and cleaning.
It’s great that you enjoy them! 🙂
Amazing photo with sparrow! Great work!
We have strange weather now – few days it’s sunny and looks like spring really came, but then come several days with snow…
I already saw some migratory birds returned to our parks – starlings, chaffinches, siskins. So, for birds it’s spring! 🙂
Thank you so much! Actually, here we have more birds in winter, because we feed them Once it’s warm they don’t come that close.
We also feed birds in winter, but not every bird comes to feeder. And still you can see them around. Some just prefer to find food on the ground (like Chaffinches). But Nuthatches – just as you say – were coming to feeder in winter and now hide somewhere in the forest 🙂
That’s true. We mostly have tits, sparrows, green finches and chaffinches, but other birds come ocasionally too. Chaffinches seem to prefer eating from the ground indeed, but tits take care of dropping enough seeds for them.
Greenfinches don’t come to our feeder, though, I saw one in winter nearby. Now I see them more often and hear their songs! 🙂
Yes, I think tits help to attract other birds closer to our window too 🙂 Like Bramblings, I recently saw these beauties – for the first time in my life :O
That’s very interesting, this winter I saw bramblings for the first time too.
They are so beautiful! I also saw a Long-tailed tit, this cutie, for the first time! Looks like a little angel :)))
I am wanting to show Asian’s version of Spring. hmmm I just need time.
Every season has its own beauty and it’s always interesting to see how it is in different places.
exactly. I documented it actually but didn’t have time to write an article about it.
Here in Florida, it is rather hard to tell the signs of spring. The palm trees all look the same all the time but the breezes are different and there are subtle changes so I know spring is blowing in. Love the photo.
I love palm trees, I wish there were palms where I live. Thank you so much! 🙂
Very cute sparrow, Ellie! I hate the job of deep cleaning, but I enjoy spring gardening, especially if there is some sunshine 🙂
Gardening is awesome, what are you planning for this spring?
I’ve already been doing lots of weeding, and I have two new trees to plant!
Great photo, but I am chasing these sparrows away from the bluebird nest now! And have cleaning I need to do.
Thank you very much! I hope the bluebirds will be okay!
They are taking their time and I am still cleaning out rat nests. 🙁
Funny as it is, I have done spring cleaning in the autumn as we just had a Housing NZ inspection. Lovely photo of the spring blossoms
Autumn cleaning is great too, actually. Thank you very much! 🙂
