The cornfield in the picture is very near our home and is tended by a neighbor. When there is a big harvest, we are always given some corn for boiling. Newly harvested corn when boiled is very sweet and so nice for a snack food.

Yes we have many corn fields here.
We have grown corns in the past in India but generally eat them by putting on charcoal. In Australia the corn is available almost as soft and sweet as babycorn.
There are several cornfields near my house.
