This baby rabbit was spotted by the Dude. He was inside the screen room (back in the spring) and kept trying to scratch out and making loud meow sounds. I finally went outside and discovered this baby rabbit inside a small opening leading to the screen room.
He froze when he saw me, giving me time to catch a photo. Such a cute thing to see him finally hop away to meet his mother nearby. Glad they feel safe and have to heir babies in my backyard.
Do you know what baby rabbits are called? Kittens. That is right. Pretty cool right! Another nature trivia fact I learned recently.

We probably have another name.
Our grammar has a Deminative.
Using the prefix, the basic noun is reduced, in this case the rabbit.
We say Rabbit-Kittens in Serbian is Zec-Zečići.
That is so interesting Robin, thank you!
