I am not paranoid. Well, not about my dog. I know my dog cares about me. I do know, however, that other than the big comfortable chair in my office, my dog hates technology. Sometimes when I am watching TV or a movie with my wife, he will hop into my lap for attention. He will position himself between me and the TV. I guess that is, so I have to focus on him. He also hates the sound of alarms. Once a month or so, you have to test your smoke and Carbon monoxide alarms. The detector is useless if it isn’t working. I found a post from two years ago about how much my dog hates technology. I would share a link and update the community on how much more my dog hates technology now.
My dog’s two favorite things on earth are going on his daily walk and guarding the house. No motion gets past him when it comes to the front yard. We have a video doorbell, and I often have to dial down the motion sensitivity because the dogs bark every time the front door sensor goes off. If we set the senor of the video doorbell to 25 getts (the maximum), it catches cars turning on the street that runs perpendicular to our driveway. Each time a car turns, the senor jingles and the dogs’ bark. If it is just a car going past, they bark once or twice and then go back to napping. If it is a person walking across the sidewalk in front of our house, they will bark once or twice.
If it is a person with a dog, then they will bark the entire line of sight. If it is a human coming to the front door, they will bark and then run to the door. Occasionally Grubhub comes and delivers dinner. Labs like Grubhub! One night my dog drove the twins nuts, he was barking and then running to the door. The twins were expecting dinner to be delivered so that ye kept getting up and checking. My dog looked at them, waited, and then did it again. Anyway, my dog hates technology. When he comes into my office, he moves things around. When he is in the basement storage/bedroom/thunder room, he knocks technology on the floor. He hates technology.

My dog Bella is just an attention hound. She just does not like it when I am not paying attention to her. She will push her head under my hand and make me pet her.
Raven does that to my wife all the time.
My dog, seeing me on the computer, will stick his head into my computer bag and walk off with things making me get up!
Some dogs are just as bad as children who want our attention. I can just picture your dog getting into your bag running off with something you need and you having to go after him to get it back. His way of playing with you.
very much him playing! it’s funny but you are right. Dogs like people have their own personalities!
I have always been a cat person and found my cat Sid to be very curious about my work on the PC. Back in Latvia, he would often lie near me so he could either watch me typing on the keyboard or just watching what appeared on the screen. Many times when I would leave the room to get something I came back and there were things I could not understand and symbols on the screen. While I was away Sid was pawing the keyboard to see what he could come up with. LOL
Dylan swats and stuff in my hands (phones/tablets). Lately he has been carrying stuff out of my office when he is done.
I think your dog simply wants your attention.
i am sure he does, but sometimes I think he hates technology!
I had a dog many years ago. I still remember his protection a little.
they, dogs do a great job of protection!
I have conversations with my cats all the time, especially the Dude. He is a talker.
And they hear noises before I do. Their ears go back instead of up, like a dog.
I love it when Raven talks to me!!! always fun trying to figure out what she is really saying!
Pet dog is always friendly and try to communicate
that is very true, my dog communicates that he hates screens!!!!
