This large estate is dominated by the Elizabethan Hall situated on the top of the hill. It is surrounded by lovely parkland with deer roaming around. Surrounding the Hall are cultivated gardens to wander through, whilst the main estate occupying the lower ground contains a large lake with the complimentary ducks to feed, and a woodland area, plus large grassy meadow areas for the kids to play and have picnics. Several times a year is a special event, which at the moment July/ Sept is a display of dinosaurs from China !!.This is an ideal place to visit with every thing to occupy any taste and age group.
