It is soft to the touch and feels like a really short velvet. It is almost powdery feeling.

#12 Luna

is waiting for me to reach the creek bed where she is standing. You do see wet paw prints, I never saw any water, but there must of been a pool close!

#13 The water level

must get really high during a rain. Look at the size of that tree on the boulder.

was dry this day due to lack of rain. Here is another, can you spot my son photo..lol He is about to walk into that crack. If you look closely you can see Luna at his side, and of course Penny on the bottom right.

Wow this is beautiful Kim! Look at that natural design. Would make a great table in your house. Put a piece of glass over it. It would be incredible. But i know it is at home here.

#17 The sun is starting to set

More cool looking boulders. This one is over head high in size. About the size of a box truck.

Time to trek back up to the car. It was a great day, we had so much fun, exploring the old creek bed.
