#11 Flight of a Pukako

This bird took off and flew away. It is close to the Airport lounge at Mangere airport. This is an inlet and it flies around it. Pukakos don't usually fly like that. They are good at it when they want to fly.

These birds are good at catching fish, they swim and dive in the water. This bird is seeking small fish to eat.

Lucky shot this time.

I rarely catch them in flight with the camera but I did at the viewing platform of Auckland's airport in Mangere.

It just took off and another lucky shot.

I've taken several photos of Swans flight and this is one of them. You have to be fast to catch them.

I use the camera straight from the hip, point and shoot. Im not really professional but I get some good shots and self taught.
