After much pain and many losses in my life, I have decided to pick myself up, brush myself off, and keep moving forward. Life is much too precious to live looking back. I will hold onto my memories, they are forever in my heart of course. But I will focus more on what is ahed instead what has happened. Like the saying goes, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I absolutely believe that. Here goes my last Blog quote challenge. Learning to Live Again…

1.
In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life…. It Goes On. ~Robert Frost
No matter what you are going through, or have gone through, the sun will continue to rise in the morning and set in the evening. Life goes on. It is very hard being in pain and hearing the birds sing, or even being around happy people. But we hopefully come out of our dark times a new person. A new normal. And with the realization that you did it. You survived to live another day. Take advantage of the fact that you survived and you are moving forward. It doesn’t mean the pain stays behind, it will continue to visit but we learn not to dwell in that place. When we love deeply we grieve deeply. Time is the ultimate healer.

2.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. ~Bob Marley
Being in dark times, losing loved ones, depression, whatever life throws your way, is a struggle. Many of us have been there. It is during all of these hard times that you regain your strength, your courage and the will to live again. A much stronger person because of what has happened. As long as you take it a step at a time, or a day at a time, keep moving forward and you will eventually start to see the light again.

The trouble is you think you have time ~Buddha
This quote speaks volumes in only a few words. So many people, myself included, will put off doing things or visiting loved ones until one day it is too late. We think we have time. We will get to that later. Or save that for another day. Or I will call him/her tomorrow. Sometimes tomorrow never comes. Take it from me and do it today. Tell those you love how special they are. Visit your loved ones if possible. Call them often. Tell them you love them. Reach out to those in need. Whatever you can do so in the end you will not live with regret. The what if’s are very hard to live with and still keep me up at night from time to time. Do it today.
One last quote to leave you with… On the hardest days, just breathe. ~Tracey Way
This concludes the Quote Challenge. I would like to thank LaJenna and
Albert Herdianto Widjojo once again for nominating me for this series.
Are there any real coincidences? I read this two years and commented and today, when I needed something to hold on to, I stumbled onto and it was just like it was written for me to read for the very first time.
Thank you. I can keep going.
Oh my, I am so sorry I just now saw your comment. So happy this has helped you.
Good quotes and images all around
Thank you for sharing with us Carol. Love the quotes, and you are indeed a inspiration. : )
And I thank you for saying that Kim, only words from my heart.
You have closed this challenge with a special quote! The quote is also always special to me. But this post shows that your words on the surface ripples so far are completely different from your depth of strength, potential, and wisdom. Amazing depth. This is a really great post, Carol!
Oh thank you dear Albert. I have so much to say to those who want to hear it. When you go through pain and struggles, you do become a different person. It is called survival. Once I learned about my new normal it made my path to life a little easier. Thanks for listening.
I totally agree with you, Carol. I also really understand your situation. Although in different contexts, in fact, I have also experienced many painful falling experiences. As I grew more and more I realized that it had brought me to myself at this moment that I was so grateful for. My apology, this is not advice but just exchanging experience. May you always be great in moving forward.
I know many others have endured pain, and I am glad you also came out the other side Albert. Thanks for the continued encouragement.
I really believe in “That’s what friends are for.” Pleasure is mine, Carol

Very wise words, Carol. And sharing that you can do it gives others who are hurting the faith that they can do it, too. Thanks for sharing!
