It was revenge. For the wind to be denied passage, it must have been infuriated. “How you dare deny me the passage? Don’t you know who I am?” Buy, it must have resultes from misunderstanding?

I tend to think it was revenge at my audacity too! Now I have given up the fight until spring, by which time I hope the wind will have forgotten the insult 🙂
That is not good but probably a misunderstanding.

Surely I should have explained things to the wind 😉
Very interesting post! I like it!

Thank you, Milena. Glad you liked it!
Dang. That was some gust!!
1
It was, and there’s been more since, so I’m not going to attempt a re-erection 🙂 till spring!

Why don’t you finish it in glass? You are half there already.. I love that greenhouse btw.
1
In glass?! Er, no – it would be too hard picking up pieces of broken glass out of the grass! Yeah, I love that greenhouse too 😀

Jeepers someone gave my comment a thumbs-down! 😀

Corrugated clear plastic? Yeah, I guess if the glass did break that would be a mess for sure. Downvote? Who did that!! Frowny face for the down voter..

I’ve actually read that a solid barrier (like plastic or glass) is a less effective wind-break than something the wind can find its way through, but more slowly, like trees, or that membrane I have on the thing. It’s kind of counter-intuitive isn’t it!

I was researching on what kind of greenhouse I could get for my desert property, I was wondering about that, I had heard of it. I think we decided against the plastic because of the dryness. They wont last a season out there. Well, at least it is easy to reapply right? Can I just turn it into a mini house and live in your garden?
2
I could dress up as grandmother, and let Meika wander around the garden.. We could call it Grandmothers house in the woods..
1
I’m afraid you wouldn’t last long out there in our winter, but you’re welcome to try 😀
1
I saw all the white stuff you call snow in the pictures from last winter..Okay rethinking my tiny house in Normans yard idea..sighs..
1
I would go with revenge on that one. Once held the wind refuses to be held again!
1
I think the wind around our way is on a short fuse anyway, after the erection of wind turbines on the surrounding hilltops. It doesn’t take kindly to being slowed down!

Ah vindictive nature, the very essence of the battle. 🙂

The very essence of paranoia, and the germ of religion!

As we say in the colonies “true dat!”

Yikes is right like carol mentioned. Sorry!
1
Oh, it’ll be okay. I’ve rolled it all up, and it can stay that way till spring, when the winds ease off 🙂
Yikes, that is not good but probably a misunderstanding. 🙂

You reckon? The wind isn’t known for its understanding!
