All rolled into one. : ) How’s that for multitasking! I took some photographs of the cats, Meika (my dog) and some flowers yesterday for the 365 Photos Challenge, since the rules state the photographs be taken recently, we had an impromptu mini photo session. Grins..
If you would like to join in and challenge yourself to a photo a day here are the rules. The more the merrier, come join us! Here are the rules and guidelines.
What better subject than cats and .. wolfdogs?~~!! The were okay with a very short photo session… This time..
Happy Thursday! Which brought to mind the reflections in the cat’s eyes and thought they might fit for the Thursday’s Reflections Challenge.
Anyone can join this weekly Challenge. All you have to do is to post a reflection every Thursday and put a hashtag #ThursdayReflections.
Here are my submissions, first off a pretty purple petunia. Say that fast 10 times..
And this pansy’s center..
Anyone remember the hashtag Trippy Tuesday? This next one would fit in that one. Someone should bring that back.. It was fun! This is Trixie with some trippy editing..
And this is Nickel the matriarch of the cat family below. She wasn’t sure what my intentions were… I liked the reflections in her pretty eyes.
After she figured out it was photo time she looked away. I never got consent to take photos after all!
Meanwhile, Lily pictured below was watching from her outside bed and wondering if you look directly at the lens does it really steal your soul?
Since the cats weren’t into the whole photo idea I decided to take some of the flowers that are blooming.
Violets and Stock.
The purple violets are under the tall pink stock.
It smells so good. Beside the stock I have this vine that has cool hot pink flowers! I forgot the name of it.
And lastly by the time I had got done with taking photos in the yard I came back in and saw this..
Lily snuggled up to Meika. Lily thinks Meika is her mom, and Meika thinks Lily is her puppy! They have a bond closer than the do with me. I don’t mind though, I think its so cute to see other species love each other.
So the moral to this story is Love Nature, and everything in it. Have a great day.
Love all your pretty happy photos.
Oh you found one from way back. I had forgotten this one, thank you so much. 🙂
fantastic and professional image! ## room mates
You have a great collection of wonderful photos here! I can see Lily and Meika are very good friends! Just like my Kitty and Maya! 🙂
Thank you Ileana. : ) Yes they are, they are best friends. I am not so sure that Lily doesn’t think of Meika as her mom. She used to try to nurse off of her.
I can only say that as the flowers are wonderful. So the animals are charming.
Thank you Elenka. My little peak into my world. : )
All of the photos are wonderful! Thank you for sharing them all 🙂
So happy that you liked them, thank you!
A wonderful post … I know quite a few examples when a cat and a dog are perfectly understood … love does not really know the boundaries
True, it does not. : ) We should learn a few things from them right? ; )
What a wonderful combination in your post Kim. I love all of your animals. Nickel’s eyes are gorgeous!
Yes, but they sure wouldnt post for a santa hat, meanies. lol Thank you, I love the differences in all threes eyes.
