Albert posted a photo for the challenge of traffic the other day. It inspired me last night to take a similar picture and now, share it. Perhaps we should call this Albert’s challenge inside the 365_Photo_challenge, post your worst traffic picture!
Traffic in DC is interesting. There is an old adage that says traffic is fine as long as you don’t cross a bridge. Of course, living in Maryland and working in Virginia, I have to cross a bridge.
On those days when I actually work in DC, it is a short hop on the Metro and I don’t have the hassle of either parking or driving!
Without further adieu, DC traffic on a Thursday. I drove 39 miles or roughly 63 Kilometers yesterday. It took me 2 hours and 28 minutes door to door.
Traffic jams are lesson of patience and tolerance. What can I say? We should be thankful to those traffics for strengthening our soul hahahaha
I have a friend who spends more time in traffic than I do that calls them the time of reflection as in, why am I here now?

Yikes, I hate traffic jams.
DC has a lot of them We have way too many cars, and effectivly only one bridge near DC that crosses the Potomac. Otherwise you have to go to DC itself to get from Virginia to Maryland.

2 hours and 28 minutes door to door is a long enough time to accumulate great anxiety or enjoy life as it is, right coach? Hahahaha…
I actually listen to books on my commute, helps me think and ponder the world around me!

lol, I have been to a lot of states here in the good ole USA, and we are reported to have some of the worst freeways, but you know what? DC has us beat!!! Forget about it.. lol
sad but true, currently the DMV has 4 of the top 11 worst cities in the US for traffic.
