There was an odd combination of high and low clouds yesterday evening as we wandered off for our walk. I tried to capture it, but the nuances of a cellular phone camera don’t provide the level of the image required to see it fully. What you do see however is the outlines.
I know that I often rail against the passing of the digital camera and its slow replacement with the cellular phone. In part because you do lose the nuisances of pictures like this. There is, of course, the reality of a tradeoff, and that is of course interesting.
(Anyone can join the challenge, the rules are all over Virily!
I always have my phone and sometimes my point and shoot camera with me.
“Do what can be done” applies to this situation. However, your drawing remains interesting, with that explanation, of course. LOL
My phone camera would take this photo in the same way, but usually I am not carrying my nikon every where.
yes, I agree with you and it is frustrating sometimes. I need to carry my camera with me more.
The important thing is to never leave the house without at least one of them. You don’t know how many times I have seen something incredible and not have a way of taking a photo of it.
I always take the cell phone because of my job. But I am going to try carrying both for awhile just in case.
Good idea, you never know what you are going to see, and sometimes you just need a real camera.
I can’t wait until I get one, I want to be able to take a picture in low light, and zoom!
Bringing separate camera and phone is just inconvenient. So yes, we trade off the quality with ease. Much like the same in life. If one does not want to go hungry, one must learn how to cook. If you cannot cook, one must learn how to go hungry. Lol!
The path to perfection lies in sacrifice. I am carrying my other camera from now on!
I like it Doc. The lights against the night sky gives it elegance.
I was frustrated. The iPhone camera is good, but I was wishing for a btter camera. It was a really cool optical effect!
