As some of you know, I recently lost one of my best friends to cancer. She was my next door neighbor and a close friend. Her Celebration of Life service is today. I will catch up with all of you later today or tomorrow.
I am reminding myself that those we love and lose are not where they used to be. They are now wherever we are. Never say goodbye, they are always in your heart. Never take anyone for granted.

I haven’t hear of a “Celebration of Life” … I don’t know what it is about, but I do hope everything is fine for her friends and families, and that includes you, Carol.
I will write about it alibb. It is more of a non-traditional service. Thank you.
I’m sorry to hear that, sincerely. Last month, we lost the senior pastor of our church and his celebration of life had to be held at the high school gym because most of the town wanted to come. He stepped down as senior pastor on his last birthday, November 3, and died the week before Easter. He was also only 13 months older than me and about a year younger than my wife. It definitely makes a person think. “Tomorrow” isn’t guaranteed to anyone on this earth.
