Part 3 ~ Three Sisters Falls

in the rocks were very cool I thought. 

I kind of got onto a capture the shadow kick for awhile. My shadow on Meika. See her ears? She has noticed that I am taking pictures of her and is about to leave, she is camera shy like me. 

This is Meikas, "you are pointing that thing at me look". 

Time to go into the bush...

Luna on the other hand is a ham, and enjoys any attention, even that evil thing pointed at her. 

Her deep chest makes her shadow look pregnant. lol 

As the shadows grow longer, it doesn't take long for that hillside to be in complete shadow, which really brought out the color of the mist. 

With the hillside in shadow, I am able to show you the rock colors on that side of the fall. 

It is three miles up and out of this valley with an elevation gain of 1000 feet. We still have a few hour hike ahead of us. Then a drive back through the snow to home. It is was 3 pm when we started back.

On the steepest part I had to stop and take a break every 10 to 20 feet. My son only a few times.   

We made it home by 6:30. What a day. I hope you enjoyed the photos and thanks for coming along.
