I did not want to give away the surprise with the cover photo. However, I took the cover photo earlier today. Both the male and female are in my poplar tree. Can you see them? The male is on the lower branch and the female above him hiding behind the leaf.
Guess what? We have FIVE eggs! Count them, there are five eggs in the nest today. I was wrong. I called it at four, but I am glad I was wrong. If they all survive and stay safe we will have five babies in a few weeks. Of course there is tomorrow, but it is not likely there will be six eggs. Now that I have said that, we all have to stay tuned for tomorrow to see for sure. Yes I am just a little excited!

Bluebird fact of the day: Bluebirds are unique to North America. Despite the reference to England in Nat Burton’s song, bluebirds are only found on our continent.
Bluebirds not only accept the help of humans, they absolutely need it.

How interesting blue eggs are…
And beautiful, my bluebirds of happiness. 🙂
In Venezuela there is Bluebird, in the northeast region of the country, where I live, we see them. I congratulate you on the five postures, future five little birds.
That is great to know, I was not aware of that. Thank you so much!
That’s wonderful! Yesterday I voted that there will be more eggs. So excited and can’t wait to see the birdies.
You guessed right, I was surprised. It will be a couple of weeks now.
WOOHOOO!! 5!!!
Hope all will survive!!!
Those little chicks will be soooooo cute!!!
You’re so lucky, Carol
I know, I am doing the happy dance. 🙂
I hope things will stay safe as well.
Woohooo … Five! Give me five!
Hmm… I will send love energy so tomorrow will increase again, and again…
Yes sir we have five. No more today, so this should be the final count.
Five star is so great! Need to be thankful!
I am always thankful. By the way, did you see the bluebird couple in the tree above?
Yes, I see them both, Ma’am. Very lovely.
Great, it was a rare shot to get them both.
Awe, you tricked me. I thought, darn I was wrong, there is only four. I was so surprised to see five. Whoo hoo. congratulations!!
Yes I suppose I did Kim but I didn’t want to spoil the surprise!
Oh it was perfect. Suspense ~~~
Thanks Kim, didn’t want anyone getting bored with my blog. 🙂
Lovely photos. Looking forward to seeing 5 newborn babies.
I hope so too Branka, hope they stay safe.
That is awesome Carol. You must have created the perfect safe location for them!!!!
Thank you Doc. For eight years now I have had the house just down the steps from the deck, a few feet out. I built Dustin’s garden around it, maybe that has been the key. 🙂
You have a spirit guiding them and keeping them safe. I think that may be why!
I kind of believe that Doc. Call me crazy but I believe.
I would not say that was crazy. There is much we do not understand of the world around us, still!
Thanks, I am glad to know you feel the same.
Beautiful birds. Really Incredible photo.
Thank you so much Jawad.
Isn’t nature an amazing thing? I mean, it is so cool that those birds can live as they do amongst us humans. The images are cool. Sorry if I seem somewhat sporadic. I am just getting back being online after a long while. I think I am rusty. LOL.
Good to see you! No need to apologize, your comment is appreciated. I am always amazed, especially at these birds. I am able to go out every day, peek inside their home and take pics. I have to be slow and take my time but they are tolerant.
Cool. Yeah, I am not god at taking pictures. They come out blurry. LOL. And it always happens where I see something and I don’t have my phone on me.
I never leave home without my camera.
I don’t either. That’s only because it is on my iPhone. LOL. Nice!!!
Thanks for the visit! 🙂
We’re both happy to be wrong on this count…
Absolutely we are happy campers Alex. 🙂
No new ones today, so five should be the final number.
Upper end of the range = huzzah!
Thanks for joining in with my celebration.
Thanks for inviting me
I will also expect more good news. Female is very cowardly or shy. She has just a head behind the branches and she is watching you.
Yes and the male always stays close to protect her. But after the babies hatch, she is very protective at her house, I have to be careful when takin pics.
That’s fantastic! Great news. Looking forward to seeing 5 newborn babies.
In a couple of weeks Pamela! If all stays safe.
All of us will be anxiously awaiting good news. lots of pictures I am sure will come right lol?
Of course. Can you believe there are five eggs!
