Sunsets are hard to capture during the spring and summer. The way my deck is situated, the views are perfect in the fall and winter. It sets away from my deck now, without a good view.
Frustrating but what are you gonna do. Take flower photos. And bird photos when I can.
Sharing a sunset taken a few weeks ago when the view was perfect from my deck. The blue skies are probably my favorite.

the sky is beautiful in this one!
Yesterday started off blue skies, but then a pop-up storm blew through, took out the power in our whole area for 5 hours.
it was a mess.
Missed the sunset because, well all I could see was clouds. I did however try to see a sunset!
That time of the year I guess. Unsettled weather. I hope we get rain soon. The heat is in the 90s and humidity is crazy. Have a great weekend Doc!

we hit 90 at 2 pm, then it literally dumped an inch of rain in 12 minutes, and we were at 80 and dropping the rest of the day. No power, all the neighbors were at hour house starting at 5 pm!
The blue sky is the perfect background for the two trees. I really love it.

Yes it is so cool to witness. Frustrating to see the houses and power lines right now.
I also do not have a full view of the sunset from my terrace.

I easier capture exactly in spring and summer because the sky is clear; it is always grey and too dark in cold seasons so sunsets are not so beautiful here. The photo is just perfect.

You know we use term Sun Set and Sun Rise , but actually Sun never set neither rise but in fact it rotates on the earth.
You are correct. It is a habit to use sunset and sunrise. You make a great point.
Even in the bible it was mentioned that Sun set in a murky water , but later it considered as a scientific error in the bible that Sun never set neither rise but it rotates.

I am always frustrated when I can’t get decent pictures of sunsets. I haven’t been able to take any as my camera has been misplaced.. lost I would think.
This happens to me every year. The fall and winter are beautiful sunsets and views from my deck. I have to be satisfied I suppose.
