Yesterday I noticed a different butterfly on my butterfly bush in Dustin’s garden. I took several photos and then researched to find out what type he is. Turns out he is a Silver Spotted Skipper. Skippers are common butterflies and are usually solid brown or grey. But this one was beautiful. With the silver (white) spot on his dark brown body, I could see him from inside the house. Very pretty butterfly. And he allowed a few photos once he got used to me and the camera. I never know what I may see in the garden. If you look closely you can see his tongue is out and curled up, very cool to see.

If I have, I don’t remember. But I’m not willing to rule it out…
This one was different with the white/silver spots against the brown.
