I wrote about this forest a few days ago.
So I’ll just repeat that I found what I was looking for.And I tried to find mushrooms. I did it.Below you can see these small mushrooms that may not be for
eating but are nice to watch.
I heard about the story that if you find the fungus eaten by Snail, that mushroom is edible. I never wanted to check that it was true.
Real beauty, is not it?
This little one is well hiding. But she gave her white color.
That’s all I managed to find from the fungus in forest except one tree plum.
The difference is that what i can eating plum.Here’s her photos made in the middle of the forest.
Nice post, I only one safe mushroom to eat, and usually buy that. However some years back I used to pick my own mushrooms from Cornwall park for free. the the powers that be put down herbicide so there are no more mushrooms.
Thank you. As far as plums are concerned they are safe to eat. I know them from childhood.
Some of my friends know how to distinguish edible mushrooms from poisonous. I’m only sure about a few kinds of mushrooms. So buy in the store some of them and sometimes pick mushrooms in the forest.
That’s right. If you’re not a professional, buy fungi in the shop.
I need to do a mushroom painting, with a hookah smoking caterpillar on it….

We go out and pick mushrooms to eat. Many people here pick them to sell.
That’s what people do with our people. But it’s dangerous to buy.
Yes this is amazing to learn about mushrooms. Great photos. Nature is something that we can always learn from.

I have taken pictures of the above mushroom in my area. That golden looking one. Great finds on your hunt. What a great way to pass time. I have never heard of the snail thing. Very interesting, and I wouldnt want to be the one to find out it was wrong. lol.

This calendar year seems to be heaven for all mushrooms. There is plenty of rain every day.
Exactly.Mushrooms grow after the rain.
Beautiful pictures not only of mushrooms but of the forest. I will have to go back and check your previous post on this forest. I used to go and walk with Tasha (my poor departed dog) in the small area behind our previous house. It was a small wooded area with several trails where I did not see any mushrooms but saw wildlife galore such as snails, porcupine (once), groundhogs (several times) and a couple of beavers building their dam (a few times), some doe and deers etc. But I have to agree with one of your replies: you need to be an expert to distinguish which mushroom is OK to eat and which one is poisonous. I never ate mushrooms that I saw in any field or any trails etc. I eat the commercial ones from a store.

Mushrooms are amazing, I love to see them in the woods but I don’t dare to pick them.
You have to be a great expert. Those who are poisonous eat only once.
That’s why it’s best to buy in the market.
But these are naturally more delicious.
