Here are some of my drawings of women. I have the belief that women like to be beautiful and pretty. Being a woman myself, I share that view.
Im also of the belief that every woman is beautiful, all you need to do is to focus on that beauty inside and bring it out on the outside. What every your body is like whether you are 3 years old or over 60 years, or older.. Your appearance as it ages has the same person that was there from birth.
That spark that is you is what you should show. Not necessarily a fashion magazine, but from a fashion magazine you get ideas.
Now the pursuit of beauty is one where some people imagine an ideal and try to imitate what some one else is and put that in a magazine. Guess wrong, be yourself. But do the best with what you have and decide what you want to be. God made everyone beautiful or handsome, but we are not meant to look like a glorified clone. We are unique, if everyone was to look the same, this world would be incredibly boring.

This is done in Acquerelle pencils. A woman out of a magazine with blue hair.
One saw some new artists from art school showing off their work. They all starved themselves thin, wore black clothing and dyed their hair green, purple, red or green or may be blue.
They wanted to stand out but didn't because they all looked exactly the same.

Done in conte. Conte is scratchy and you can smooth it over with your finger or a Tortillion. I like the tone and colour.
This is Mum's mother, Granny the only grand parent I got to know. It was before I was even thought of at Ellerslie Course. She only bet on the horses with what she could afford to lose.
In those days, women liked to wear fox fur, it was the fashion then.

Yes, it's a pencil drawing.
At the end of the book she marries a Tall dark rich handsome man, and they are happy every after. Once a stranger, then friend and then much more special .
