Cats never cease to amaze me. You will find cats sleeping in strange places and in different weird positions.
If you have time, you can check how these cats sleep and weird places they sleep.
Actually I just watch my cat and I find her is different places. She likes to sleep on the bed at times with me but not much room for me. She slept one night on the porch. I found her one day in the bookcase sleeping. She likes to sleep on the floor inside our apartment. She is very cool.
I missed my cat, Shadow. He likes looking at me when sitting together. But I lost him early this year.
Sad to hear you lost Shadow. That’s one of their attitudes, staring at a person or thing.

I had a cat and I was surprised many times over her sleep.
It was quite funny and weird to see the way she slept. They are quite a sight to look at.

Having had pet cats for most of my life, I have seen them sleep in all kinds of weird and stretched out ways. Dogs are just as funny with amazing contraption styles of sleep… I wish I could move and relax as well as cats and dogs….
Yah, even dogs do sleep funnily. I understand your situation. It isn’t that easy but you can always try in small ways.
