Bees communicate in the hive they do a dance a figure of 8 to tell other bees where to find food.
That’s a new one on me. I did not know that.
There is a Honeybee place just by Warkworth up north, and you can see the bees inside a room separated by glass. The Queen bee has a dot marked on her. It is a wealth of information
This is very interesting; bees are amazing creatures.
Our honey bees are fortunately non aggressive I know there are different types of honeybees.
Luckily, the European bees aren’t aggressive either, but I have heard of the “killer bee” hybrids. Scary stuff.

I have always loved fresh honey. If you eat local honey it will help your allergies, I am told.
I hadn’t heard that, but eating local food in general has a lot of benefits.
I have also heard that. It makes sense.
There was always honey at home. Thanks to my parents, he always had a home. They took care of 10 bee hives. They even had in excess and sold. Now they are gone and I buy honey from the store.
My great-grandfather had bees too and made honey. Homemade is always special.
