Pomegranate, with its bittersweet red and pink berries, is a fruit that helps keep cholesterol and blood pressure low, and its vitamin C protects it from colds.
It has a high water content which helps keep the body healthy and hydrated. It is rich in potassium which, coupled with reduced sodium, helps replenish the cells’ water level, enhancing a more effective recovery of cell health, improvements in the nervous and muscular system, and lowering blood pressure.
As if that weren’t enough, it has antioxidant substances that help control cholesterol levels. It is easily digestible and is indicated for gastrointestinal problems. It is also an ally against stress, hypertension and high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease or even cancer, especially prostate cancer.

I love pomegranate. Also the tree for me to make bonsai.
I have them growing in my garden. its not bitter sweet it is tart and sweet and some are very sweet.
i love them! We only get them (ripe) a few times a year in my part of the US but I love them!
I have in my country, my region and in my own garden but I seldom eat it.
Pomegranate is very expensive here maybe because it is an imported fruit.
Isn’t it sort of bitter?
I like it if it is peeled for me (lol)
It is one of my favourite fruit. What about you?
