This snake belongs to the snake family Colubridae. It is a non-venomous snake found in the meadows of the United States. The substance of this snake lays up to 15 eggs, with most of the snakes falling prey to different animals in the first year of their lives.

As a child I lived where there were lots of colorful snakes around but they have always scared me. Looking back I can now appreciate their beauty.
