How Well Do You Know These Computer Threats
You got 5 out of 8 right!
Got them all right, but then this was my field for years…
I got 8
That’s great! Congratulations!
Thanks for playing. 🙂
6 out of 8
i got 4 out of 8, although i have experienced a lot of this crap viruses, spyware, adware, and other computer diseases.
Yeah, even I still got duped recently. I thought it was installing the legit app, since the site I got it from came up no. 1 in Google search. It wasn’t.
Also we should be careful in clicking express install. 🙂
yeah, I noticed some sites I downloaded come with annoying ads, like Grammarly. I thought it was good to have because it makes my typos more noticeable, but it is annoying because I got too much popup ads. and I ended up uninstalling.
Got 6 but I strongly disagree with your answer choices for question 1, a worm and a virus act in very similar fashion on a computer network.
That is so true. That’s what confuses most people even some computer technicians. 🙂
well based on the way you worded it, either would be the correct answer. A worm is designed to replicate itself using an initial host computer. A virus is also designed to replicate itself using a host computer.
The main difference is, a virus inserts a code in other programs, which I used in item no. 1. Worms, which are often mistaken as a virus creates a copy of itself. Most of the malware spreading these days are worms.
6 out of 8.
7 of 8
7 is still the highest so far. Congrats and thanks for taking the quiz.
got 7 out of 8 right
Great job. 7 is the highest so far. Thanks for taking the quiz
Very detailed and tricky but it’s explained in good details on knowing what is what. Thanks for this!
Your welcome. Taking a quiz here in Virily is a fun way of learning things. 🙂

That ‘s a good score, Carol. 🙂
6/8
That’s good 🙂
This was a good quiz, but tough to sometimes remember one term from another!
5 out of 8 right!
Nice 🙂 good score.
Got 5 out of 8!
Good job. So far most people got the same score. I know some of the terms I used here are not commonly known. 🙂
7/8
Congrats, Gary.! Highest score so far.
My daughter would kill me if I blew it. She’s currently attending Defcon and is one of the staff on the BSides convention.
Very embarrassing. I know it all, but forgot or interchangeable terms between each other. Very embarrassing. I know it all, but forgot or interchangeable terms between each other. Heyyy.. That is Not an important reason, the important thing is I got 2!
It’s OK. Sometimes these malware are indeed confusing. There are even computer technicians here in our place who can’t distinguish the difference between a worm and a virus.
??
5 right!
