Every time we use our computers and gadgets, different firms of Malware (malicious software) threatens to invade our devices. Some of these are merely annoying, some are designed to scam us, some will damage other programs or worse your whole system, some are designed to steal sensitive information such as credit card and bank details. Let’s see how well aware are you of these threats.

    • Yeah, even I still got duped recently. I thought it was installing the legit app, since the site I got it from came up no. 1 in Google search. It wasn’t.

      Also we should be careful in clicking express install. 🙂

      • yeah, I noticed some sites I downloaded come with annoying ads, like Grammarly. I thought it was good to have because it makes my typos more noticeable, but it is annoying because I got too much popup ads. and I ended up uninstalling.

      • well based on the way you worded it, either would be the correct answer. A worm is designed to replicate itself using an initial host computer. A virus is also designed to replicate itself using a host computer.

        • The main difference is, a virus inserts a code in other programs, which I used in item no. 1. Worms, which are often mistaken as a virus creates a copy of itself. Most of the malware spreading these days are worms.
