Our country, the Philippines is prone to volcanic and seismic activity. There are numbers of deadly earthquakes that are listed and I believe that most countries experienced this traumatic natural disaster.

      • As you say in your quiz, earthquakes normally happen at plate boundaries, and the UK is happily situated well away from the edge of a plate. Minor Earth tremors do happen, but only very rarely can they be felt – I can only recall one occasion on which I noticed a tremor. Likewise, the nearest volcanoes to the UK are in southern Italy – which is certainly prone to earthquakes.
