The great Norman quiz – there’s much better knowledge here11 / 16
Hey, well done, lado! (I’m curious about your handle – is it a big i or a small L at the beginning?)
I do not understand your friend well enough about your question about big or small L..pourness
I am just asking: Are you LADO or IADO ? ๐
Friend my great Lado-nice greeting
Hvala, Lado ๐
I need to read a little more careful. Only 8 of 16.
All of us need to do that, mrki! Thanks for playing ๐
12/16 I got a few “both” answers wrong, I should be more patient when reading, haha. Awesome quiz!
You did very well, anyway, but you always need to watch out for both/all of the above type answers with my quizzes ๐
I had the same problem with some of those questions. And the same score ๐
got 4 out of 16 right!
LOL Edith – thanks for giving it a shot ๐
I got 13 out of 16 with only a few guesses. ๐
You did very well, Gary. Thanks for playing ๐
You got 7 out of 16 right!
Not so bad. It turned out that I had too much to forget despite ever living there.
You forgot everything you never knew – or a lot of it anyway ๐ Thank for playing, Albert!
As a stranger, you know a lot about me. As a friend, you do not know anything about me. Which sentence would be more appropriate for me to say to my friend somewhere?
Hehehe… You are welcome, Norman.
The answer would depend on many variables, Albert. Only you can choose ๐
lol at Indexer. A lot I didn’t know apparently .. 8 correct…
And now you might know one or two things more, and – you never know – you might need those pieces of info at some point in the future… And I learned how to spell whisk(e)y correctly, depending where I am!
Interesting point though about the word whisky! I don’t use that word much, and never noticed the variations. I have even been to Kentucky, its pretty big there. I prefer tequila or rum. Aye matey.
I am more ignorant than I knew. That’s worth knowing. I’ll do it again later and see if anything has changed.
Good one, Norman.
Haha, Kathy, we’re all ignorant before we now something. No mystery or surprise there ๐
I got 10 of 16 and like my scotch with club soda & lemon ๐
Well I like my whiskey straight, or with just a little water ๐ Thanks for taking the quiz, Paul!
Id still be gasping for breath. lol
Enjoyed this compare/contrast quiz on these two amazing countries.
So I came back to try again and fared much better thanks to learning from the first go at the quiz. I also do wonder about the leprechaun one… : )
Well you saw my reply to Trenna… Magic and imagination are very important to us, Roberta.
That’s always encouraging when you get a significantly higher score after coming back to a quiz ๐
11 out of 16 in this quiz.
That’s a nice score, DPG ๐
Thank you Norman for the kind comments.
Y score was as low as a third
I got 6 correct….learned a lot with your quiz ๐
Hey that’s great! Thanks for the feedback and for playing, Mon ๐
I want my point back – my mom said there are no such things as leprechauns
I bet your mom hasn’t been to Ireland!!
Does that mean no I don’t get my point back. I don’t know if she went or not. I know they went to England and stayed for a few months. I would think they toured a bit. Since she’s no longer her, we will have to wait to get the answer.
If you come here, you just need to go to the end of rainbow, and there’ll be the truth. I’ll give you back your point if I’m wrong ๐
hahaha, you two made me laugh.
15/16, but I disagree with you on question 12. Scotland is famed for whisky, not whiskey. The spelling matters a lot!
I had a feeling some smartipants was going to raise that ๐
I have a sneaking suspicion that you would have been disappointed otherwise!
Ah you know me, don’t you! ๐
Missed #6 & 7. Great challenging quiz.
You did great! Scotland is notorious for its fatty food, and they’ll put anything in a batter and deep fry it ๐ฎ
Sounds like the good ole USA! ๐
