    • It;s easy to mess up, especially if I’m in a hurry, I find! But, “Irish people don’t speak English”? I swear I didn’t say that! All Irish people speak English, most as a first language. Ireland was an English colony for some 800 years, so it’s not surprising πŸ™‚

  1. A TALE OF TWO ISLANDS: Do You know the Difference between Britain and Ireland? (QUIZ)

You got 6 out of 14 right!
    Not so bad
The Irish city which gave its name to a humorous five-line poem is… Limerick!

    ok .. now i know ?

  2. I got 11 out of 14. I would have gotten 12 had I read question 13 all the way through. As I was clicking on Ireland I’m thinking “What. Iceland is part of Europe.”

I should have my daughter take this test. She’s going to Britain and Ireland this summer.
