The United States is a big country and as can be expected, there are a lot of tidbits regarding individual states that many people don’t know. In many cases, they might have heard the information and have simply forgotten it. That makes the topic a great one for a trivia quiz or several. How much do you know about US States?
As usual, the pictures may or may not actually have something to do with the answer. In any event, this quiz may allow you to learn a little bit more about the US.

Great quiz and thank you for sharing
Thank you very much. It was fun to write.
Very interesting and informative quiz, Rex! I only got 3 correct, but heard lots of new and surprising information. I misread, or rather misunderstood, #7 “Which is the MOST populated state?” to mean “Which is the most DENSELY populated state?” and chose NY 🙂
LOL…I can understand that mistake. That it is the state with the highest population, the answer isn’t really surprising. California is also the third largest state, with lots of major seaports. Most of the population of NY, if I’m not mistaken, is concentrated in NYC.
I plan on writing about one of these questions. I was even surprised when I learned about it, and I follow such things. That is, I’ll be writing about the state that has the smallest National Park, or rather, I’ll be writing about the park. Having grown up in a national park, I try to keep atop national parks and monuments.
Great! I’m looking forward to it 🙂
It has posted. It is a national park because of a series of events and a technicality. :))
I only got 3 correct….could have done better; but now I know!
Not that the information would be all that helpful in life (which pretty well defines ‘trivia’), that isn’t a bad score in that it helps with learning the information. :))
I only got 5 out of 10. Usually I do much better with geography.
Five is still a good score. This isn’t an easy quiz and some of the answers aren’t quite what people would think of at first.
Six out of 10 in this quiz.
That is a good score! You did well.
Thank you Rex for the kind comments. These quizzes can really humble anyone who thinks we know everything.
That is also a good thing. Being humble is far better than being prideful. There is always more to learn, too.
That is true. It keeps me on the ground.
Fun stuff with some new-to-me info!
That is really good to hear! I’m glad that you liked the quiz.
I only got 5 correct, good quiz.
Thank you. That isn’t a bad score, either!
I got 7 correct answers.
That’s a good score! Way to go!
got 5 out of 10 right!
That isn’t bad at all!
