    • Not many people know about these other kind of smoke trees we have here. And they only bloom a short time in the spring if temps don’t get to hot.

  1. What beautiful photos Kim. I missed three! Never seen the wild smoke tree. The black butterfly bush is stunning! Also love the blue one. Great quiz. 🙂 Thanks for the mention.

    • Thank you Carol. 🙂 The smoke tree is a Desert Smoke Tree, very much unlike yours in your neck of the woods. That Black one has grown twice it’s size since last year when i got it. Hopefully yours will do even better planted in the soil. I have to transplant this one after this summer. Its gotten too big for the pot and the bottom leaves are turning yellow. You are welcome about the mention. I was so happy you got one! It will be stunning next to Justins’s white one.
