There was an interesting discussion at my home. We had some friends top by and eding up staying the day. There was an issue with the furnace and carbon monoxide so we could stay in the house. We just went for along walk and talked.
We covered many topics. Of course Virily came up because they read my blog and often times there are links there to Virily. They have been very supportive of my resolutions and still believe that is it crazy to share them with the world. They have no desire to join Virily but it was funny to listen to them talk. It was clear that they read most of the posts by others on site. We all had some very different views and perceptions and it was interesting. Some of our thoughts were vastly different.
We determined that my goals for writing on the site are very jumbled. (That’s probably not a surprise to any of you who either read here or my blog. I do like conversations, learning new things and making a difference in the lives of others. They pointed out that those needs and desires would never be met on this site, so I would either have to change my expectations or continue to be frustrated.
We also agreed that for whatever reason writing my goals publicly was keeping me on attract and that is a great benefit of this site.
Of course, the money question came up. They couldn’t comprehend that writing enough to at least getting $10.00 a month was a waste of time. They said my written journal would give me no money but also so grief. They state emphatically that I was crazy to put in so much time, for so little money to help others get their $10.00 as well. The conclusion was “I care too much”.
So here’s your chance to particiapate in the conversation or simply let it go. No worries. Untimately we all know that I alone have to make these decisions.

Look, money or not, 10$ or 100$, that’s not so important. The point is: do you enjoy Virily? I do, that’s why I’m here. Just think about it, if you feel good while writing here, then keep on going, if not, then what’s the point?
Take care, life is beautiful! ?
I am the real juggler here. I have four posts, I write content work, I write, and write and write and I make a steady passive income but it is a struggle. My life right now is the Internet so I love to share all I can with others and hope they enjoy what I share. No reason not to share your life if that helps you and makes things easier. I once started writing about my life from day one and it got people interested now all these writing are gathering dust so I am thinking about brushing them up and putting them online again probably here I also have things to share about my dad a popular Latvian poet and writer which I think could get interaction. Let’s just both go for it and see what happens when the dust settles.
I agree with the others, it has to be a personal choice that only you can make. We all struggle with issues in life and have to make decisions and choices, and hope we make the right one. Think about it and go with your gut instinct. You can’t go wrong if you do. 🙂
I suspect there are many things in our path that can be seen as speed bumps. You are struggling, it is clear with your place both here online, but also in life.
I have no easy answers, but I do support your right to do what is best for you as a person!
The thing is that you must be happy and comfortable with the things you do …
if that’s what Virily brings you more of the time (than uneasiness) then you could stay …
Actually I’ve really thought about it too – “Is it worth some much efforts for $10?” In the end, I learn to adjust… and try to balance things out … 🙂
In the end, it’s really up to you. I would of course wish you stay but still you’ve to be comfortable here
It is true that there are so many reasons for our stay here, regardless of 10 $ per month.
