I just read an article by one of fellow members in this site and that made me laugh aloud. Yes we have some of the most crowded trains in the world since we have well over 1.3 billion people in this country.
But if you think India has some of the most crowded trains in the world then here are some of the Indian trains which are considered most luxurious in the world.
Have a look and tell me if you would like to travel in any of these? Fairy Queen Express

I would take the train but not in such a crowd
Those trains are impressive. I would like to ride on them.
i love riding on trains. I’ve been on trains in many countries (including India) they are always different and always interesting!
In the picture is an awesome train, hahaha.
Just one? I thought the top image is during a “Stop The Train” strike when people do it in protest or strike.
Would love to ride on all of these trains!
I am sure, and you should know that Indian Railways charge almost double the normal fare paid through American Dollars 🙂
Of course, I would love. I rare now travel by train, to fly is faster.
Same here and these trains are for travelers like you only!
Anyone of those trains will be a dream to me.
I am sure these trains have 4-5 star facilities in them.
Thanks for the post. How much you like travel in a train?
I have traveled a lot in trains… you are well aware that we have not much air connectivity in our country.
But I have never seen the passengers traveling on rooftop. That pictures is from some where else.
People still travel on rooftops in some areas but this picture is during a RAIL STOPPAGE STRIKE.
Very royal indeed. I have never traveled in such royal trains .
Yes very royal, these trains are as costly as 5 star hotels.
