What color do you think I am? – Spring flower
Today I challenge you to guess the color of this flower. It is a genus of flowering plants in the family Solanaceae. I grew it in a pot on the balcony. The fruits obtained from these flowers are used in the kitchen.

I think this flower is pink. Great picture.
Thank you! I’m preparing a post revealing the answer!🙂
Oh Ileana, this is tricky. I do know this flower, and have taken pictures of it before. They grow wild here, near creeks and ponds. The thing is, is that here they come in three different shades. That light blue you mentioned, a light purple, a white with a faint light purple center next to the pistols. And white ones with splashes of yellow near the pistols. So… I think I will go with light blue on this one, but with your photography skills this could also be white. You rarely blow out colors, if ever. In fact I dont think I have ever seen a blown out color in any of your photos. So blue it is.
The kind youve shown is not the wild kind, so it really could be any of the colors. My second guess would be pink.
Never mind all that I wrote above. LOL. It just came to me what kind of Solanaceae this was. hahaha. At least it came to me. It just took about ten minutes. You were tricky. It’s not blue, or pink. Big grin.. ITs YELLOW!
Do you cook it or usually have it in salads? One I love to eat, one not so much.
Just noticed you didnt put yellow in the choices.. Frowns. Okay, forth and final pick, White?
I think I just had to draw this plant and its fruits for one of my color crazy colors a few weeks back.
It can be eaten raw in salads or cooked. By the way, the fruit is red, or green, or yellow … depending on the variety! You made my day! 😀😀😀 Thank you!
Thank you for the moment of joy! 😀😀 It is not yellow! I didn’t even add it as an option!
Aha, that exempts the old egg plant. I noticed that after I commented. No yellow, drats. lol. I had fun with this, this morning. The thanks is on you! So, in my first comment, about you not blowing out colors. I should of went with white. 😉 Im just going to start picking sepia like doc. lol
It does not grow wild here. We grow it in the garden. 😀
They do grow wild here. The tiny grape ones will be growing near the creeks. They arent very tasty though.
I guess you’re thinking of another plant that is part of the same family. I know you posted some Bittersweet(solanum dulcamara) flowers some time ago. It’s not solanum dulcamara if that’s what you thought!
That is exactly what i thought at first. I love your memory recall! Yes, I did post the purple ones. Then I thought perhaps it was a egg plant, or grape tomato.
Mine had just gotten its first blooms. I started it from seed. I only have one plant though. I need a few more.
You’re are going to make everyone grin when you post the answer!!
Veri nice flower. White is my guess.
I’ll reveal the answer later!
sadly you didn’t have my color on your list. I am guessing this flower is Sepia!
Looks like you like sepia very much! I’m sorry it wasn’t an option, but I’ll fix it!
i just love to always pick fun and different colors! 🙂
I would say pink, lovely photograph.
Thank you! I’ll reveal the answer today!
I think this lovely flower is pink.
Pink is a very nice color! Thank you, Sandra!
I think it is white or a very light color.
White is a very light color! We’ll see if that’s the right answer!
I guessed pink, it is the only color I have seen.
I will reveal the answer soon!
